Description Robert Half is actively searching for a talented Accounting Clerk for a well-managed company. The primary tasks of the Accounting Clerk will be assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, and general forms of data entry. This is a long-term contract / contract position based in the Newport Beach, California area.Key responsibilities
Mend discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
Report financial facts to journals and ledgerst
Work with Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance
Aid Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
Classify documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes
Overall accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
Produce statements and reports that require utilization of a wide range of sources Requirements - Outstanding data entry skills
Comprehensive knowledge of Yardi
Yardi Voyager experience preferred
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
experience in in Spreadsheet and ERP system
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
