Job DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will perform tasks related to the manufacture of membrane for use in commercial projects. Your responsibilities will include basic maintenance and operation of the equipment required for the manufacturing process. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will use laboratory equipment, such as balances/scales, stir plates, and fume hoods to prepare and dispense solutions for coating membrane. Additionally, you will operate the large roll-to-roll equipment used for coating the membrane, as well as other larger-scale mixers and production equipment. You will be responsible for collecting and recording relevant data from the operation of this equipment. Your tasks will include following a recipe and mixing chemicals to create the coating for sheets, running sheets through the Lamination machine to be coated, applying adhesive on laminated filter sheets, operating the compressor machine for stacking and compressing membrane sheets, troubleshooting issues with the various industrial machines, and entering data into Excel. You will be expected to follow the manufacturing process as instructed.Hard Skills

The manufacturing floor has different rooms where certain steps in the manufacturing process are handled. Different machinery is running in each room. It can get busy with the manufacturing techs moving throughout the floor. The environment is very casual and the dress code is relaxed.
