The Agile Project Manager is responsible to drive effective and efficient Agile development methodology and process. Your role will include reviewing cross functional Agile team meetings and tool usage to facilitate effective and accountable development. You will be responsible to organize scrum meetings and reporting, collaborating primarily with the engineering, program management and product management. The ideal candidate lives, breathes Agile and has demonstrated ability in implementing the framework and tailor it to various team needs

The Role
  • Facilitates Agile methodology and meetings including stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.
  • Guides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimates
  • Manage the engineering development process and facilitates sprint releases
  • Drive team sprint execution between agile teams
  • Reviews current agile epics and stories, Making changes as needed, and establishes guidelines for ongoing work
  • Leads team effort in relentless improvement, define and implement improvement stories to increase the velocity and quality of the program.
  • Proactively identify and eliminate impediments and facilitate flow
  • Facilitate high level project reports to show team progress and burn-down charts
Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field, computer science preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience and 2 years leading sprints
  • Demonstrable expertise of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment
  • Expert coach on implementation of agile scrum
  • Deep understanding of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile procedures to predict the development teams' needs
  • Passionate commitment to delivering products on time
  • Deep understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.) to analyze and improve sprint planning
  • Ability to understand and represent both the business and technology
