The Manager, NPI & PLM - Service will be responsible for leading the operations related to the development and oversee the New Product Introduction and Product Lifecycle Management programs for Lucid Service. This position requires an experienced professional with strong strategic program management background and a record of implementing cross-functional operational processes while partnering with teams such as Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and other cross functional teams at Lucid. Role
  • Support functions to accurately structure new products and document changes as part of the product development, continuous improvement, and sustaining Service processes
  • Oversee the SBOM (Service Bill of Materials) strategy as it relates to cross-functional teams in MFG
  • Provide support and maintenance for SBOM, including reviewing ECRs and case management
  • Influence and promote PLM strategy initiatives for Service
  • Lead discussions for end to end supersession of serviceable parts
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers to identify serviceable component guidance
  • Coordinate serviceability validation for introduction of new serviceable parts
  • Work with Service Supply Chain to ensure a healthy supply strategy of parts are available prior to introduction
  • Create strategy to ensure the End-of-Life cycle of parts are supported effectively for the vehicle life
  • Track overall program status for all active project rollouts
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent background
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing automotive program or equivalent experience
  • Ability to organize and drive continuous program improvement
  • Exceptional ability to interface and collaborate with individuals, groups, and suppliers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Passion to continuously develop, improve, and maintain processes
Advantageous
  • Automotive aptitude for sub-system commodities and manufacturing process
  • Startup experience focused on early program development
  • Purchasing and Planning knowledge in the Service (i.e. After-Sales) environment
  • PLM Experience (Delmia or equivalent)
  • ERP experience to aid in management of SBOM and part master data
