Business Analyst

Description We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Business Analyst to join our team in the wine industry, located in Napa, California. This role involves understanding, assessing, and analyzing various aspects of the business, including pricing strategies and impacts of change. You will work closely with the executive team to examine industry standards, competitor strategies, and internal data to establish our pricing requirements.Responsibilities: Support the executive team in maintaining and updating the Master Cost Grid with supplier pricing. Manage pricing updates and files for various platforms and special pricing files. Maintain and communicate distributor pricing, ensuring state pricing files are current and updated. Conduct miscellaneous analysis, including monthly pricing upload and bi-monthly KPI file reporting. Ensure the accuracy of the Daily Sales Report by scanning for pricing and cost discrepancies before daily report launch. Oversee DIVER Management, including report creation and maintenance, load annual and periodic goals, and manage automatic email reports. Engage actively with company management to work through business opportunities and changes. Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills, advanced Excel skills, and excellent organizational and time management skills to meet the demands of the role. Provide great customer service and interpersonal skills to both internal and external customers. Solve problems and troubleshoot issues with keen attention to detail. Leverage proficiency with common word processing and spreadsheet software in a fast-paced environment. Utilize skills and experience with DIVER/VIP and ERP such as Navision, Business Central 365, or Net Suite. Conduct sales analysis and reporting using tools such as Database, Business Process Functions, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and MS Dynamics 365 Business Central. Analyze and manage competitive pricing and customer pricing. Report on KPIs and perform pricing analysis.
