We are designated as a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital and are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health care Organizations. Long-term care experience

1 year experience as a speech therapist

Knowledge and ability to perform a speech pathology assessment and evaluation

Knowledge of principles, concepts, diagnostic, and therapeutic techniques for speech therapy

Ability to implement practical application of knowledge

Ability to function independently and autonomously

Ability to communicate in writing and verbally in English

Ability to teach and instruct patient family and staff

Current licensure by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance as a speech and language pathologist

Current BLS CPR certification (Must be through the American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications:

6 months to one year home health experience
