Summary of the Role Improve the team’s security posture by providing regular maintenance and applying security best practices to various servers. You will be the internal IT admin to do the NetOps and SecOps heavy lifting, resulting in the team becoming more independent in systems and data integrity. Duties

• Perform configuration management and automate patching, monitoring, and backups for the following internal and third-party servers:
• SVN
• Dozuki
• Helix ALM
• Lab Network
• Windows Maintenance for Solidworks EPDM servers (not necessarily config management)
• Improve security of our systems by conducting ongoing maintenance, updates, credential management and implementation of security features such as 2FA, etc.
• Keep several, primarily Linux, services running and implement emergency recovery procedures by restarting assets and performing emergency reboots for the servers/services assigned to you during power loss, system failures, etc.
• Develop base images as needed for security tooling efforts.
• Work as needed with the central services team to manage the Solidworks PDM server.
• Improve the overall maintainability of the systems through monitoring, addition of automation, virtualization, cloud computing, etc.
• Document systems and procedures.
