Technical Training Specialist 5+ Month Contract Remote PST
Duties:We are looking for a Technical Training Specialist to lead the development of the full technical training curriculum for our employees for a Workday (HRIS) technology upgrade. Our vision for the Workday upgrade is to improve the employee experience in Workday through enhanced process quality and speed to give employees time back to focus on what really matters. You will work closely with the Change Management team and report to the Change Management Lead for the program.Responsibilities include:- Develop a training plan to educate our diverse persona groups with different training needs (e.g. HR, Employees, Managers) to successfully adopt the upgraded Workday platform
- Develop training materials: durable reference guides or job aides, e-learning platform courses (webinars or recorded trainings or videos) for our different audiences
- Coordinate trainings, including presentations of new features and simulation activities in a demo environment
- If you have experience with technology implementations and leading training content development, you would be a great fit for this role.
- Proven work experience as a Technical Training Specialist or similar role
- 7+ years of training/development experience
- Experience in developing technical course content
- Knowledge of web-based learning platforms
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms using simple language for our employees
- Additional certification in training (e.g. Certified Technical Trainer) is a plus
