Description We are seeking a highly competent Staff Accountant with a deep understanding of Accounts Receivable to join our multi-dimensional team. Your core responsibilities will include gift entry support, invoicing revenue-related transactions, and assuring timely collection of monies. You will also assist in Accounts Payable and Accounts Reconciliation when needed. This is a contract to permanent placement opportunityResponsibilities:
Conduct gift entry support and ensure appropriate opportunities and campaigns are matched within Salesforce or NetSuite
Oversee and ensure accuracy in the invoicing of revenue-related transactions
Communicate with teams or clients to assure timely collections
Perform reconciliation duties and recommend improvements for invoicing and collection procedures
Serve as a backup for Venue Rental Accounting and Accounts Payable
Conduct Accounts Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliation as needed
Provide general finance department support including end month close, annual audit, and sales tax filings
Uphold the professional standards of the organization and maintain confidentiality
Continually seek improvement in job responsibilities and seek avenues for professional growth
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (finance or accounting degree preferred)
A minimum of 3 years of work experience in finance or accounting
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Prior CRM/ERP system experience (especially Salesforce) preferred
Experience with NetSuite desirable
Attention to detail, accuracy, and capability of meeting deadlines
Proficiency in MS Excel
Exceptional communication skills and a team player
Self-motivated individual with the ability to follow finance policies accurately
