Description Colleen McAuliffe from Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Manager for Our reputable client and is seeking a Payroll Manager to join the company. The Payroll Manager will help meet standards for the financial department necessary for growth and will work on tax-related tasks, such as W2 forms, preparing reports, and updating policies. Are you a dynamic Payroll Manager with excellent communication and proven leadership, and are you deadline-driven? Then this may be the role for you!Your responsibilities in this role

Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems

Comply with relevant laws and internal policies

Manage payroll tax audits and liaise with auditors

Build systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g., salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third-party payments)

Oversee and train payroll assistants and clerks

Answer payroll-related questions and resolve issues

Maintain accurate records and prepare reports

Supervise system upgrades and the processing of payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, raises)

Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams

Requirements - Superb understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes

CPP, CPM, or other related professional certifications is a plus

Solid grasp on current payroll procedures and related laws

Trained in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field

Capable of working in payroll applications

Sound written and verbal communication skills

5+ years of payroll experience

Leadership and organizational skills

2+ years of proven leadership experience as a payroll manager or similar role

Compliance knowledge
