General Laborer 1

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a General Laborer 1 in Mountain View, California. As a General Laborer 1, you will be instrumental in supporting the team during a facility move. Your role will involve handling materials, executing work orders, and maintaining the organization of the facility.Responsibilities Assist in the accurate identification and labeling of containers with corresponding tags or markings. Engage in the removal of stickers and signs from facility doors and walls. Execute work assignments based on work orders or oral instructions, ensuring the correct materials and equipment are utilized. Document the quantities of units handled and moved, maintaining records of daily production activities. Facilitate the movement of equipment, stock, and other materials to and from storage areas manually. Contribute to packing and repacking of containers as needed. Transport necessary tools and supplies from storage or trucks to the work site and ensure their return after use. Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills to facilitate team coordination and problem-solving. Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in all tasks undertaken. Requirements Proficiency in handling materials and organizing them into appropriate containers and bins. Experience working with spreadsheets for tracking and recording daily production. Ability to understand and follow work orders accurately. Strong written communication skills for reporting and documentation purposes. Familiarity with storage procedures and practices for efficient utilization of space. Experience with wall construction and repair would be advantageous. Competency in stickering for product identification and tracking. Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Must possess a strong work ethic and reliability.
