Mountain View, CA in Accessibility Tester Role Title: Accessibility Tester Hiring Mode: TP/FTELocation: Mountain View, CA [Day 1 on-site Total number of positions: 6 Skills required:- Accessibility (WCAG / 508) testing skill / experience
- Mobile A11Y
- Web A11Y
- WCAG standards knowledge
- Screen reader expertise with JAWS/NVDA
- Experience with accessibility testing on both web and mobile platforms
- Willingness to work in shifts as per project roster
- 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Be able to describe accessibility issues and recommendations for resolving them to non subject matter expert engineers. (Bug reporting)
- Some debugging skills, able to convey and explain bug causes and a11y concepts to non a11y subject matter experts using minimal step reproduction cases.
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated
- Able to self manage, adhere to deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with front end technologies
- Test automation
