Job Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a truck driver
Clean Driving Record
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Class “C” Drivers' License
Distracted Driving is absolutely prohibited i.e., no unsecured cell phones or hand-held devices; no typing or reading, no texting, no emailing, no taking pictures. Driver must have truck in “park” whenever attempting to find route on any device or physical map.
General Accountabilities
The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Checks vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Check load to ensure properly secured.
Collects delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
Maintains logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
Drives trucks with capacities greater than three tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver products, or other materials.
Obtains receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required.
Operates equipment to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
Checks conditions of trailer after contents have been unloaded to ensure that there has been no damage and that all gates have been properly placed and secured.
Checks all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
Reads and interprets necessary maps, instructions to determine vehicle routes.

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
