Job Title: Paving Superintendent

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paving Superintendent to oversee our paving operations and ensure the successful completion of projects.
Position Overview:
As a Paving Superintendent, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of paving projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with company standards and client specifications. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of paving techniques and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of paving projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
Coordinate with project managers to develop project plans and timelines.
Manage subcontractors and field personnel to ensure that work is performed safely and efficiently.
Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays as they arise.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets client expectations.
Prepare and submit daily reports, progress updates, and other project documentation as required.
Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration among project team members.
Mentor and train employees to help increase skill sets.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in paving construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of paving techniques, materials, and equipment.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
