Summary:
The position requires a dynamic individual with an environmental science, geology, biology, chemistry, or civil engineering background, the ability to work flexible hours (but primarily Monday through Friday), and a willingness to travel periodically. The position will be extremely active and will include a variety of field assignments and office work. Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations is a plus, as well as technical writing skills. The position requires an individual who is looking to advance their career opportunities and would like to be involved with a diversity of assignments including, but not limited to, collecting, synthesizing, and documentation of data from investigated areas and assisting in the preparation of project documentation. Will provide support for field activities as needed for projects, which may include field site supervision, excavations, and collection of field samples for laboratory analysis.
The salary range for this position is $64,659/year-$91,633/year, please note this is a tiered position.
Minimum Qualifications:
All levels:
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical/Environmental Sciences or similarly related field
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record, able to drive company vehicle
Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite and databases such as Access and PowerPoint
Adept at explaining technical aspects of fieldwork to internal and external clients verbally and in writing
Level - II
Three (3) to Five (5) years of relevant working experience, specialized training, and/or an advanced degree such as MS may be substituted for work experience
Level - III
Five (5) to Seven (7) years of relevant working experience, specialized training, and/or an advanced degree such as MS may be substituted for work experience
