Temp Job Receptionist for Chiropractor

I am a female chiropractor, looking for a fast learner who can drop into the saddle at the front desk of my busy office while my office manager recovers from an off site injury.

Initially, the hours will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:15-12:15 and 1:15 to 5:15.

My office manager hopes to come back to work on May 29th, but being a chiropractor, I see that the road to her full ability will likely be harder than she hopes for. Once she returns, I anticipate that my office manager may want to go home after the first shift, or at least to have help there with her. So as of May 29th, the temp position will be dwindling down from possible half days to possibly two hours per day.

A local person will be the best fit for this job due to traffic.

Our atmosphere is cozy, clean and folksy, with green plants, and clean displays. The people are wonderful.

The tasks include greeting people, taking payments which will be indicated for you on a ledger card or on a product price list, running credit cards, scheduling people on the online system Wellness Living, taking detailed phone messages and retrieving messages from the phone system, calling people back, and making basic replies to time sensitive emails.

I will also be asking you to help with projects as they come up, such as to open a shipment and to check it against a packing slip.

UNTIL I GET A TEMP WORKER, I CANNOT RESPOND TO REPLIES UNTIL EVENING HOURS MOST DAYS. ALSO, A TRAINING WILL NEED TO BE SCHEDULED TOGETHER, EITHER AFTER HOURS OR ON THE WEEKEND with the person hired.

I work booked days with hands on my patients. I hope to find a temp worker ASAP.
