Viable, LLC is a unique company specializing in High Performance Real Estate Consulting as it pertains to sustainability classification, professional certifications, auditing services and ordinance compliance is currently recruiting for a Data Entry Clerk specifically for the ENERGY STAR rating system. We work primarily with commercial office building throughout the U.S. and are seeking a qualified individual to help us grow our data management and quality assurance program.
This is an entry level data entry position with a focus on the development and management of building performance data, including but not limited to building use, operations, utility data management, and quality assurance.
The candidate will have experience with Mac, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Trello or similar organizational software, ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager or equivalent data management software, performing research online, and providing quality assurance. The candidate must have a professional attitude and email presentation, and flexible in their duties as an Data Entry Clerk as follows:
Data Entry focused on utility data including energy, water and waste
Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
Removing corrupted data and fixing errors and related problems
Developing and maintaining databases, data systems, reorganizing data in a comprehensive format
Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct issues
Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and predictive
Analyzing trends that impact both the organization and the client
Working with management and project coordinators to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
Preparing final analysis reports for the clients to understand the data analysis steps, enabling them to make important decisions based on various facts and trends.

The starting rate of pay for this position is $22.00 - $26.00 hourly contingent upon experience, with the option to grow with our quickly evolving business. The ideal candidate will live in the Salinas Area to reduce the companies carbon footprint. Periodic remote work opportunities will be offerred after a 90-day probationary period, however this position requires presence on site.
