Car Tech Auto Collision is a family-owned and operated auto body repair facility with over 20 years of experience serving the Salinas community. We’re proud of our strong reputation for quality and integrity and are seeking a dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our team ASAP. We have grown immensely and due to this we are now searching to add to our team.
We work with multiple DRPs and a wide variety of insurance providers. Our shop handles everything from large collision repairs, to restorations, to simple bumper fixes. Our work environment is friendly, professional, and driven by a shared commitment to excellence and teamwork.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. Our shop values quality over speed, and we believe in "work before play"—but we still enjoy our daily, shop-paid lunch breaks, a few good laughs, and a positive atmosphere.
Required Skills & Experience:
Candidates should have mid-level experience and strong proficiency in most or all of the following:
✅ Plastic Repair
✅ Sheet Metal Repair
✅ Fiberglass Repair
✅ Frame Set-Up & Measuring
✅ Frame Pulling & Squaring
✅ Exterior Panel Replacement (door skins, bed panels, quarter panels, etc.)
✅ Cutting & Welding
✅ Aluminum Repair (not required, but a big plus)
