Our fast-growing cannabis processing company, Greenfield Organix, 4th St., is looking for a full-time Human Resources Manager with verifiable employee relations experience.

HR Manager Responsibilities:

Perform background and reference checks on all new hires;

Assist in the tracking of offer letters and regulatory paperwork for employees;

Onboarding and recruiting;

Issue pay plan and job description changes;

Assist with company event planning;

Plan and administer applicable training;

Update policies/procedures as necessary;

Remain updated and compliant with federal and state HR and OSHA regulations;

Organize confidential employee data with discretion;

Use the Microsoft Office and Google suites to maintain records and prepare reports;

Facilitate HR administration in a confidential manner;

Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships;

Act as a liaison between employees and management when needed;

Create and maintain a congenial work environment;

Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

Proficient understanding of employee supervision, accountability, development, training and performance evaluation.

Must have at least 3 years of HR Generalist experience.

Must have employee relations experience.

Must have knowledge of CA and Federal HR Laws.

Must have hands-on knowledge of computer systems and software applications.

This is a fast-paced, manufacturing environment. The ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a calm, impartial demeanor is essential.

All employees must successfully complete a criminal record and drug screening check, Live-Scan or FBI Fingerprints requirements, and must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
