Alliance Physical Therapy was established to meet the needs of an underserved population. We pride ourselves in our ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy in a holistic manner to a group of people who have not had access to exceptional health care. We are community oriented and find much reward in providing for those in need. We are looking to hire an additional physical therapy aide to assist our therapists in their treatment plans.
The role of a Physical Therapy (PT) Aide in the clinic is to support the flow of patient care and maintain a clean and sanitary environment for our clients.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
- Carries out exercise plans set by physical therapists (PTs) and physical therapist assistants (PTAs)
- Greets patients and implements protocol for Covid-19
- Documents exercises and stretches each patient has completed in EMR program (WebPT)
- Maintains cleanliness in the clinic (e.g. wipes down tables, changes linens, empties trash, laundry, etc.)
REQUIRMENTS
- Education that has included some anatomy
- Experience with exercise
- Ability to work in a team
Ideal Candidates
- Able to speak some Spanish
- Have worked in a PT clinic before
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Are able to comfortably communicate with people of all races, genders, religions, etc.
- Work great in a team
- Are able to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment
- Demonstrate the ability to plan ahead
This job is typically worked by a student pursuing a career as a PT/PTA and with excellent job performance typically comes an excellent recommendation for school applications and future jobs. This is not a requirement, but we do offer priority to those looking for experience in this career path.
