I am an older woman who is physically and cognitively challenged and requires a compassionate, reliable, and punctual caregiver who enjoys their work. The ideal candidate must have expertise in dementia and memory care, medical administration, and organizational and management skills. If you have nursing experience, first aid training, and CNA and CPR certification, that's a plus! Your primary responsibilities will include scheduling or providing transportation, accompanying me to appointments, and running errands as required. We have shifts available from Monday through Sunday during the day, with at least one weekend day a week.
You'll be paid $17.89 per hour through the Monterey County Department of Social Services' In-Home Support Services and the WPCS programs. WPCS is paid retroactively from the start date. You may be eligible for health insurance, vacation pay, sick pay, and overtime pay if you meet the qualified requirements through the IHSS program.

If you're not registered with the IHSS program, you can begin working and agree to be paid retroactively once you receive your provider number.
