1.1 Reporting Relationship
Executive Chef, Sous Chef, Lead Line Cook
1.2 Position Summary
This position is responsible for assisting in preparation of food products and deep cleaning of the kitchen areas. Responsible for other duties as assigned by Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
1.3 Essential Functions
Food preparation in a safe and sanitary manner in accordance with health standards
Keep utility carts clean
Keep walk-in and reach-in refrigerators clean
Clean and sanitize surfaces of equipment
Assist with janitorial duties as needed
Other duties as assigned
1.4 Required Knowledge/Experience
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to communicate effectively with volunteers, clients and staff
Ability to safely lift 50 pounds
Good organizational skills
1.5 FLSA
1 Hourly – Non-Exempt Full time 32-40 Hour per Week
0 Salaried – Exempt
