Maintenance Engineer

Cypress Inn is currently accepting applications for a full-time maintenance engineer to assist with the preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance needs of the property. We are looking to add an experienced, dependable, and courteous team player to provide superior service to our iconic dog-friendly hotel and restaurant. Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Core functions include basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills to perform minor guest room repairs, general landscaping maintenance, interior/exterior painting skills, proper tool handling and the ability to recognize any potential safety hazards and security problems on the property. Must be able to interact respectfully with guests and work cooperatively with management and co-workers, performing duties as assigned.
