General Manager needed at busy Mezzaluna Pasteria and Mozzarella Bar
Mezzaluna is looking for a full time general manager to oversee all aspects of running a successful restaurant.
The perfect candidate will have experience with high volume, be very hands on and energetic. Must understand outstanding service and strive for excellence.
We look for the following:
Both food and beverage experience
Excellent communication skills
Understands anticipating the needs of every guest and overall restaurant, very proactive not reactive.
The ability to provide leadership - must be able to get along with everyone
Computer literacy - must be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
Problem solving skills
Fully understands attention to detail
Successful in managing teams and outstanding talent
understands maintaining consistent restaurant morale
Wine/Liquor/Beverage Controls
Multi-tasking
understands how to follow very specific systems already in place
Organized and Tidy
Ability to remain calm and courteous in all situations
Scheduling
Understands how to manage a happy, fun, environment - doesn't take themselves too serious
Basic knoweldge of POS system
Basic Knowledge of inventory and cost controls
Understands how to make guests feel special
Set Schedule
Off Monday and Tuesday (restaurant closed)
45 hour work week
must be available all nights, weekends, holidays
Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas
Paid Vacation
