Position Available: Executive Sous Chef
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to close (usually around 11pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating, maintaining and ensuring completion of checklists for each day of service
- Proper inventory management (FIFO), weekly ordering, monthly inventory
- Keeping an orderly and sanitized kitchen
- Maintaining food safety standards at all times
- Preparing and properly labeling/storing ingredients
- Setting up and stocking stations for service
- Plating and garnishing food per chef's instructions
- Creating dishes in combination with management
- Organizing nightly cleaning and weekly deep cleaning of kitchen
Compensation:
- $70,000 to $80,000 depending on experience
- Medical, dental, vision insurance
- 401k plan and matching up to $1,500 per year
Qualifications:
- Valid food manager card
- 5 years minimum experience in a kitchen, Michelin-rated preferred but not required
