Deli Staff & Sandwich Maker
Compensation: Based on experience
Employment type: Part-Time
We have an opening for a part-time sandwich maker at a local family run Market & Deli. Must have previous food service experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude while dealing with costumers. Must have clear and effective communication skills!
Job Functions:
-Making sandwiches, preparing food according to recipes and food safety standards
-Communicate with staff members kitchen inventory and restock when food prep items are low
-Clean and close up deli counter each shift
-Always greet customers in a friendly manner
-Team player
-Use time productively
Qualifications:
-Previous food service experience
-Well-groomed appearance, personal cleanliness and friendly
-Ability to perform physical requirements of job
-Can use cutlery, kitchen equipment and cleaning solutions
-Repetitive hand and arm motion, making sandwiches
Certifications:
-ServSafe Certification is required, can be obtained after hire
Starting HOURS:
Monday 10:00 am- 3:00pm, Tuesday 10:00am- 3:00pm, Saturday 11am-4:30pm
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: Based on experience plus tips
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday (Subject to change)
