Parker-Lusseau Pastries, Inc. is husband and wife owned and operated, since 1998. Both Anne Parker and Yann Lusseau are pastry chefs. We are a French Patisserie with American Influences. We specialize in breakfast pastries, tarts, cakes and cookies. We also make a range of savory items, including quiches and sandwiches.
This position includes the following essential duties:
-Prepare and assist in the baking of various doughs.
-Shape, roll, cut, and bake prepared doughs for retail and wholesale distribution.
-Box and label baked goods for delivery to the retail location and wholesale customers.
-Maintain accurate daily documentation of inventory and production processes.
-Ensure cleanliness and organization in the baking area by performing daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning equipment.
-Lift and handle heavy bags of ingredients, such as 50-pound bags of flour or sugar, for refilling storage bins.
-Support the Head Baker in preparing for the next day's work, ensuring all necessary ingredients and tools are ready.
-Other duties as assigned.
Physical requirements include ability to lift up to 50 pounds, standing for 3-4 hours at a time, and ability to perform repetitive work throughout shift.
Expected hours/schedule: 4:00 am to 12:30 pm, Monday - Wednesday.
