Description Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to elevate your career? Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join a thriving team for a 6-month project. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of accounting principles, attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage complex financial tasks efficiently.Duties will include:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Oversee general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries.
Participate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing actionable insights for management.
Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring adherence to tight deadlines.
Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and supporting audit procedures.
Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role.
Strong proficiency in accounting software such as [e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks] and Microsoft Excel. Advanced knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and audit requirements. Experience in tax compliance and/or SEC reporting is a plus.
