Freight Dispatcher/ Transportation Coordinator

GBT is growing and seeking exceptional talent to join our team. We are searching for an experienced detail-oriented freight dispatcher to coordinate trucks to pickup and delivery locations. This role will require at least 3 years of experience in refrigerated transportation. Most importantly, a book of business is essential for this role. Some duties will include communicating with customers to ensure superior service, interacting with drivers to guarantee on time pickup and deliveries, monitoring driver's logs, sourcing trucks to cover dedicated freight, preparing dispatch assignments to drivers, collecting freight bills to send to accounting, working effectively under pressure, employing problem solving strategies. This position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in refrigerated freight, high school diploma (a degree in logistics would be a plus), excellent communication skills, experience in customer service, ability to operate TMS systems/ word/ excel, knowledge of trucking rules and regulations, ability to solve problems in a safe manner.
