Very Established regional courier company with over 300+ employees is looking for a part-time driver to provide small parcel delivery from Modesto to West Sacramento, CA, delivering our freight interoffice. We are an employee-based, essential business servicing California for over 30 years with IMMEDIATE OPENINGS looking for YOU! Perfect for Uber drivers, fixed income individuals, or employees looking to subsidize their income with set, guaranteed hours!
HOURS:
Monday - Friday, 3:45am start in Modesto, CA. Shift runs approx. 6+ hours per day. The position is based out of Modesto, CA 95356
This position would be for a line haul. Modesto to West Sacramento & then back to Modesto. We can provide route stops in Sacramento area as well upon return for more hours.
PREREQUISITES:
Provide and drive your own Large cargo van or Sprinter van. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS PREREQUISUTE. You will use your vehicle to complete your daily route assignments.
Clean DMV driving record with no more than 1 point in the last 3 years
Must be 21 years of age or older
Driver is responsible for providing vehicle, fuel, maintenance, and 100/300 liability & $50,000 property insurance. This does not mean Full Coverage.
Must be reliable, customer-service friendly, and energetic with a positive attitude!
COMPENSATION:
Top drivers make $23.00 to $25.00 per hour+ using their own vehicle. This is based on a combination of an hourly wage and mileage reimbursement. Base wage is $17.50 per hour plus a non-taxed mileage re-imbursement of $.63 per mile for a Sprinter or Cargo Van.
Benefits include sick pay based on California labor laws.
