At JAK Logistics, we are seeking a full time Class A CDL driver with doubles endorsement for our dedicated Portland/Memphis run. No owner operators, only company drivers. First come, first serve for this position. This is a Monday through Friday run with weekends off. Dispatch time round trip to Portland, Oregon from Tracy, CA is 4 AM Monday morning. After you get back to Tracy on Tuesday morning before a 10 AM dispatch time, you will depart for Memphis, TN and get back by Friday afternoon. During the winter we'll route you south if the summits are bad for the Portland run. If you don't take too many breaks throughout the week, you'll have optimal home time as freight is waiting for you on all ends. If you live near Sacramento I'll pay you to commute to Tracy with my truck. If you live closer to Tracy you can park the truck in Tracy. This is not a local position, this is a TEAM position. Driver must be tech savvy enough to complete monthly online training and the new hire onboarding process, which can all be done from any smartphone. Pay:
Weekly pay with direct deposit paid every Friday.
Detention time paid when there is detention time.
Monthly cell phone reimbursement available.

Requirements:
Doubles / Triples endorsement required. No Hazmat required.
Minimum of 1 year of tractor trailer experience required.
You must be dependable and ready to show up every week, following FedEx and company policies.

Your run has a 12 speed automatic 2023 Freightliner with refrigerator, microwave, power inverter, and premium mattress. We have a Ryder maintenance program so our fleet stays maintained. If there is a breakdown on the highway, road service is just a call away. If the truck can’t be repaired then a subunit will be brought out to you, minimizing down time.
