Certified Diesel Technician

We are currently seeking a Certified Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, along with the necessary certifications to validate their expertise. As a Certified Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and related components.

Conduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance services.

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with diesel engines.

Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify and fix problems.

Replace or repair faulty parts, components, and systems efficiently.

Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used.

Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.

Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship program preferred.

ASE certification or equivalent is required.

Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Diesel Technician.

In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and related components.

Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
