Location:
This role operates out of our Oakdale location but will be instructed to field work, looking for new jobs as well as maintaining a presence with current customers.
Job Duties:
The primary duty of the Customer Service Field Representative is to seek new and upcoming jobs.
Field Work consists of inspecting the progress of current work and finding new jobsites in which our services can be utilized.
Maintains current accounts and develops new business in order to generate sales volume for the company.
Requires face to face contact with customers.
Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships via cold calls and following up on leads for new business.
Responsible for maintaining neat and up to date records on an outlook calendar of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls and follow-up activities as well as a mileage report.
Participate in company functions, customer visits and customer events.
Qualifications:
2-3 aggregate construction experience
1-2 years of outside sales experience
Must be able to work independently
Individual must be a people person who is not afraid to introduce themselves and take charge.
Must be a “go-getter”
Excellent verbale and written communication skills
Able to be flexible to work a schedule needed to support the business including hybrid schedule, overtime and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of aggregate trucking
o (ex: Truck types, load sizes of trucks, materials etc.)
Experience with QuickBooks
Experience with Excel
5+ years of Outside Sales Experience
