Responsibilities of this role
-Provide direct clinical services to clients, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapy sessions.
-Offer group, individual, family, and collateral clinical services as needed.
-Collaborate with schools and provide consultation services when appropriate.
-Provide clinical oversight and guidance to other mental health staff within the STRTP.
-Conduct trauma-informed and culturally sensitive trainings, coaching, and modeling techniques for staff and personnel.
-Ensure compliance with all mental health contracts and regulations.
-Review and authorize mental health services in the electronic health record system.
-Maintain comprehensive clinical records in accordance with agency standards and regulatory guidelines.
-Collaborate with referring agencies and community partners to coordinate client treatment.
-Collect outcome data, including consumer satisfaction surveys, as required.
-Implement program goals and objectives to meet contractual requirements and productivity standards.
-Participate in monthly peer review meetings and attend trainings as necessary.
-Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a culture of quality and safety.
-Utilize therapeutic crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed.
-Administer medication for therapeutic treatment under supervision.
Desired skills and qualifications
-Graduation from an accredited graduate program with a major in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavior
-Analysis, or related field.
-License eligibility (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) REQUIRED; Licensure required.
-Experience in non-traditional clinical settings preferred.
-Active registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
-Valid California driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
-Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
-Ability to work effectively in diverse cultural and ethnic settings.
-Knowledge of mental health programs and community resources.
-Commitment to ethical and legal standards in mental health practices.
