## Job Summary
Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services offers companionship for seniors who wish to remain active and independent from the comfort of home. Our team believes that seniors can help each other age with dignity, grace, and respect. To do so, we commit to pairing caregivers with care receivers who share similar interests and backgrounds. This ensures a mutually beneficial relationship that helps to encourage a deep and meaningful connection.
Our compassionate caregivers also help with daily tasks like light house cleaning, yardwork, medication reminders, and transportation to and from appointments or social events. Additionally, we offer respite care for those with more advanced needs.
## Duties
- Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist residents with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Medication reminders following proper protocols
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior
- Support residents' independence and uphold their rights
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for residents
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality of resident information
## Skills
- Experience in home community care or assisted living preferred
- Knowledge of resident rights and direct support systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Proficient in first aid procedures
- Familiarity with medication administration practices
- Strong caregiving skills with empathy and patience
