Lead Cooks 3-5 years experience (Food Handler Management Certification)
Line Cooks 2-3 years experience
Breakfast Cooks 2-4 years experience (Must be proficient in egg cookery)
Prep Cooks 1 year experience or Culinary School Grad
Assistant Baker 1-3 years experience
Kitchen Utility/Dishwasher no experience necessary
General Requirements:
Must be fluent in English (read/write)
Must possess or be able to acquire a Food Handlers Card at Employers expense
Must possess High School Diploma or GED
Cooks must be able to demonstrate proficient knife skills
Cooks must be proficient in Culinary Math
Cooks must be able to follow standardized recipes
All employees must be team players and willing to perform tasks outside of their regular duties
References and Work History must be verifiable

Cook Interviews:
Interview with Sous Chef and complete Food Safety & Sanitation Quiz and general cooking knowledge questionnaire
A 2-hour Mystery Basket cooking demonstration consisting of an appetizer, soup, and main course. Breakfast cooks will
also need to demonstrate proficiency in egg cookery. The Executive Chef will be observing and tasting. Candidates will meet with the Executive Chef upon completion of the cooking demo. This will be a paid interview.
Assistant Baker interviews:
Interview with Sous Chef and complete Food & Sanitation quiz and general cooking/baking questions.
A 2-hour baking session will consist of following a recipe of one baked item, and a cooked dessert item. The Sous Chef
will be observing, and the Executive and Sous Chef will be tasting. Candidates will meet with the Executive Chef upon
completion of the cooking demo. This will be a paid interview.
