Location: Modesto, CAGallo is seeking a dynamic and creative Senior Capability Specialist to help deliver interactive and engaging online, blended, and virtual training programs using the latest learning tools. The role requires partnering with internal and external L&D experts to design and develop Lean Six Sigma Core trainings and programs that support all learners across the organization, as well as execute LSS Core Programs' implementation strategies for continuous improvement across the organization. You are responsible for measuring the effectiveness of Gallo's training programs and modifying them as needed to ensure they meet business objectives. Under the strategic guidance of the direct manager, you will gain Lean Six Sigma certifications by leading and managing continuous improvement programs and projects to increase business productivity and customer satisfaction. We are looking for an ideal candidate who is passionate about training and learning, experienced in designing and developing online, blended, and virtual training programs, creative, collaborative, and has experience with curriculum development. What You Will Do

Develop customized participant training materials, active learning activities and events.

Ability to apply advanced Lean and Six Sigma Principles to process improvement through training materials.

Teach/coach continuous improvement Six Sigma concepts encouraging a culture of problem solving and customer focus, realizing on-going improvements and cultural change.

Candidates should be innovative, energetic educators with experience teaching adult learners within a Learning Management Systems D2L, Brightspace, Blackboard, Moodle, Instructure Canvas, etc.

Ability to teach business subjects to today's multi-generational learners including Process Improvement, Project Management, and Lean Six Sigma.

Candidates should demonstrate a mastery of their specific discipline; have experience planning course materials; with a deep commitment to education and professional development; understand technology competencies; with teaching skills and business strategies and understanding of instructional technology.

Planning, preparing, and executing continuous improvement strategies through facilitating classes, technical assistance, or individual coaching.

Developing customized participant training materials, active learning activities and events.

Working closely with company leadership to develop key performance measurements and reporting systems.

Applying advanced Lean and six sigma principles to process improvement through training materials.

What You Will Need

Master’s degree plus 1 year of end-to-end project management, engineering, production/operations, supply chain management, winemaking, finance, Human Resources, Learning & Development, IT, Sales, Marketing or B2B customer service experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of end-to-end project management, engineering, production/operations, supply chain management, winemaking, finance, Human Resources, IT, Sales, Marketing or B2B customer service experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

Working towards Black Belt certification or SCRUM Master certification, or will be supported to obtain certification once hired.

Required to possess personnel management or technical process management experience; required to possess demonstrated team building and mentoring skills and experience.

Required to possess demonstrated process/continuous improvement experience (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, TQM, Agile) on a departmental or organizational level and process improvement projects to closure.

Required to possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to work with senior leadership and functional leaders; convey a vision of project objectives and to motivate and inspire team members.

Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering plus 5 years of E&J Gallo Winery end-to-end project management, engineering, production/operations, supply chain management, winemaking, finance, Human Resources, IT, Sales, Marketing or B2B customer service experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility.

Master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering plus 3 years of E&J Gallo Winery end-to-end project management, engineering, production/operations, supply chain management, winemaking, finance, Human Resources, IT, Sales, Marketing or B2B customer service experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility.

Demonstrated team building, leadership and mentoring skills.

Experience delivering business results as a project leader.

Skilled in applying principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

Compensation:

Hiring Salary Range Posted: $89,100 - $133,700 / year

Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
