Inventory Clerk

Description We are in search of a dedicated Inventory Clerk to join our team in Modesto, California, United States. This role will involve cross-checking count sheets, ensuring physical counts are correct, and performing heavy data entry tasks. This position is part of the telecom industry and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Cross-checking count sheets to ensure accuracy. Verifying the correctness of physical counts. Performing heavy data entry tasks. Assisting with the inventory process as needed. Utilizing inventory skills to manage and organize stock. Ensuring inventory records are kept up to date. Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth inventory operations. Reporting any discrepancies in inventory records to the management. Assisting in the development of inventory control procedures and best practices. Adhering to all safety regulations in the workplace. Requirements Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Experience in inventory management is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lift and move heavy items, when necessary Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work in different shifts, if required Basic math and recording abilities Excellent physical condition and stamina Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports An analytical mind with the ability to solve problems.
