David A. Kalunian CPA is hiring a full-time (40 hours/week) Staff Accountant. This is a great opportunity for candidates with Accounting background who prefer being a valued part of a small, tight knit team rather than just a number in a larger firm.

Pay: Commensurate with experience and education
Duties & Responsibilities:
Tax preparation
Preparing work papers
Bookkeeping
Payroll
Assisting supervisor with other accounting and office related tasks as necessary
Education: Associate and/or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields.
Experience:
Strong computer skills. Programs Firm uses are Excel, Word Lacerte and QuickBooks.
Previous accounting experience preferred, but not required
Experience working with taxation and/or bookkeeping preferred, but not required
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong desire to succeed
