Client Service Repesentative

VCA Olympiad Animal Hospital, located near the beautiful lake in Mission Viejo, is searching for a friendly animal lover with customer service experience to join our team as a Client Service Representative.We are a three doctor primary care veterinary practice that offers wellness and sick appointments, preventative care, general surgery, and dental services. We are a close and helpful team who like to share in each other's success.DUTIES INCLUDE: Customer service functions, including: welcoming visitors, answering phone calls, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms Scheduling and confirming appointments Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments Supporting doctors, technicians, and management Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control) Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence Keeping workspace and lobby clean, including cleaning up after pets Driving VCA initiatives for positive client experience and retention.QUALIFICATIONS: Prior face to face customer service experience Willingness to learn Compassion for pets and people Team player Prior veterinary experience is a plus The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and be exposed to hazards associated with pets such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches, and animal wasteThe pay range for this position is $17.50 to $19 per hour depending on experience.If you are a current associate, you need to apply through our internal career site.
