Description We are looking for a skilled Systems/Network Engineer to join a team in Milpitas, California. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and managing the IT infrastructure, focusing on designing, deploying, and operating the foundational systems and platforms. Implement and manage complex networking both on-premises and in-cloud. Design, install, and maintain on-prem data centers.
Manage Windows, Linux, and Mac computers and servers, ensuring efficient management of systems at scale in an enterprise.
Utilize scripting and automation experience to enhance efficiency.
Apply infrastructure and security best practices to existing and new systems.
Utilize skills in Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Design, Firewall Technologies, Core Infrastructure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Fortinet Firewalls.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role Proficiency in computer hardware and configuration management is required
Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex network solutions
Strong knowledge of firewall technologies, specifically Fortinet Firewalls
Familiarity with core infrastructure and its role in network engineering Coding skills, preferably in languages commonly used in network engineering
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
