Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting

Reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, this individual will manage a team and own the global process for the customer program rebate reserves for Western Digital.   This role will include various projects and opportunities to enhance our accounting process to be more efficient and effective.  The person in this position will work closely with Revenue Accounting and Reporting teams and business partners from BU Finance, Sales Operations, Claims Settlement and IT teams.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the calculation and review of program reserves and oversight over the month end close process. Analyze monthly and quarterly results of earned rebates for accuracy and completeness and be able to effectively communicate the results to the executive leadership teamKey contact for internal and external auditors, and cross functional teams who may have questions around our reserves processReview processes on an ongoing basis and implement improvementsCollaborate with IT and other stakeholders to modify and implement functionality improvements to system reports and processesLead the ERP and enhancement projects for our program reservesApprover and reviewer of SOX controls and internal and external PBC requestsCoach and provide guidance to a team of 3-4 senior analysts
