A Software Application Developer III job is available with a leading Technology Company located in Milpitas CA courtesy of Modis Engineering. You'll be responsible for developing, prototyping, and designing native Windows Desktop applications using cross-platform technologies. You are passionate about innovation, playing around with the latest technologies, and pushing boundaries. You execute well with a high degree of individual ownership but are also adept at working as part of a team. Experience:
Hands-on Windows desktop application development experience (C#, .Net, UWP, WPF) Collaborating on a cross-functional team to deliver against a product road map. Participating in brainstorm sessions, design discussions, code reviews, and automated test development. Experience in cross-platform technologies like React-Native is a huge plus. Skills: Solid front-end experience with Windows Desktop applications. 5+ years experience in Windows app development with UWP or WPF using C or C#/.Net Experience in systems-level programming (Win32 APIs, multi-threading, Interprocess Communication, pipes, COM) Total 8+ years of hands-on experience in Software Development. Must have experience building and deploying apps using Microsoft development technologies. Familiarity with Packaging of Windows applications and integrating native libraries. Ability to develop applications from scratch Deep understanding of performance measurement (CPU, GPU, battery drain, memory, bandwidth) of the applications for best user experience.
