Seeking to hire for the position of Direct Support Professional who will provide assistance to adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities. Direct Support Professionals assist the children with activities of daily living in their home, as well as out in the community. This is an entry level position and we provide on the job training. Experience in working in a residential facility and with our client population is preferred.
We are an Adult Residential Facility for Persons with Special Healthcare Needs and Behaviors (ARFPSHN-B) located in Atwater, California. We provide services for adults between the ages of 18-59 years old with developmental/intellectual disabilities who lives at the home. All five clients need nursing supervision and assistance with their healthcare maintenance and activities of daily living, 24 hours/ day, 7 days /week. Every shift, the support team consists of a registered nurse, a licensed vocational nurse, respiratory therapist, and direct support professionals for each client and a float person.
We offer staff housing assistance for those willing to travel / relocate.
This home operates under the oversight of Central Valley Regional Center and California Department of Social Services - Community Care Licensing.
