HR Generalist

Description We are offering an opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist in Merced, California. As an HR Generalist, your role will encompass a variety of tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the company. You will be the first contact for employees, clients, and customers, and will be responsible for maintaining a positive and professional environment. You will also be tasked with supporting our Field and Business Operations teams to ensure they have the necessary tools and support to perform their work successfully. Responsibilities: Maintain a positive and welcoming demeanor at all times. Oversee daily HR department operations including handling incoming calls, mail, and interactions with the public and company clients. Develop and track recruitment campaigns, applications, applicants and their status. Maintain an employee hire tracker to ensure new hires move smoothly through the onboarding process. Support onboarding process and orientation activities by creating new-employee and orientation binders and packets. Maintain updated and accurate non-confidential HR recruitment documents and files on Sharepoint. Provide annual employee review templates to managers and send reminders to collect reviews. Support benefits enrollment activities including the development of annual benefits reports for agencies. Review employees’ daily work check-ins and scheduled time off to develop and submit daily and/or weekly employee trackers to clients. Understand all company policies in order to answer employee questions, recommend actions and provide employee trainings on company policies and procedures. Support off-boarding activities including document preparation and collection of equipment.
