JOB SUMMARY
The electrician position conducts machine installations, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance services to both electrical and mechanical systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Effective communication between workers, supervisors and management.
Produce quality of work that meets or exceeds NEC requirements
Maintain facility, property and equipment in new working condition
Assembly of various types of equipment, including running conduit and pulling wires
Maintain a cost effective inventory of electrical tools, parts and supplies
Capable of leading improvement projects or working in multiple trades and skill levels
Work with low and high voltage 110-460 along with Single and three phase (industrial motors), Photo eyes, sensors and other automated control circuits
Experienced with AB, Siemens and other PLC and VFD programming platforms
Approach safety with a positive attitude and watch for the wellbeing of others
Assist other departments within reasonable and related tasks
Maintain housekeeping in and around all electrical panels and equipment
Quickly/accurately perform material and recommendations
Multi-task – must be able and willing to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously
Participate in group/team meetings – demonstrate good communication skills
