They are based in San Francisco and they serve a variety of types of funds.Responsibilities include:
Review FATCA and CRS documents to determine the classification of funds and account holders for AEOI purposes, including FATCA/CRS registration and reporting.
Validate account holder tax documentation, such as Forms W-8 and W-9, CRS self-certifications, cure documents, and AML/KYC documents.
Scrub data and prepare reporting templates for FATCA and CRS reports, CRS Compliance Forms, and assist with filings.
Assist with PPOC filings and compliance, and promptly respond to notices from tax authorities regarding AEOI matters.
Stay updated on current FATCA and CRS laws, rules, and regulations.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk related to regulatory services.

Ideal profile:
2+ years tax experience with exposure to FATCA & CRS
Candidates can come out of a CPA firm, or another fund admin!
Strong Excel skills – pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
