This fully remote role requires candidates to be available during Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours. You will ensure that all fixed asset transactions are accurately recorded and comply with applicable financial regulations and accounting standards. The successful candidate will also have expertise with Workday Financial Management software.Key Responsibilities:
Fixed Asset Management: Oversee and manage the company's fixed asset accounting functions, including acquisitions, transfers, retirements, and depreciation calculations (Source: US Demand for Skilled Talent Q1 2025.pdf).
Compliance: Ensure financial compliance with GAAP, SOX, and other applicable regulations. Maintain accurate financial records related to fixed assets (Source: Salary Guide Landing Page 2025).
Reporting: Prepare detailed fixed asset schedules and reconcile discrepancies between fixed asset records and general ledger accounts.
Workday Financial Management System: Use Workday Financial Management software to track and manage all fixed asset transactions and reporting requirements effectively.
Process Improvement: Implement and maintain best practices and systems for tracking fixed assets to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency (Source: Salary Guide Landing Page 2025).
Collaboration: Work closely with purchasing, operations, and finance teams to facilitate asset acquisitions, disposals, and physical inventory audits (Source: Salary Guide Landing Page 2025).

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of fixed asset accounting experience and lease accounting experience ASC 842. Must have experience with Capital Project budgeting experience
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Workday Financial Management software is required.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial data analysis.
Experience with automation tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Remote Work Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment while staying organized and responsive.
Time Zone Requirement: Must be able to work during Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours to collaborate with internal and external teams.
Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to analyze complex accounting issues and reconcile asset data with accuracy.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and accuracy in recording transactions and reconciling accounts.
Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
