Green Diamond Resource Company is currently recruiting a Safety Coordinator to work at our forest operations in Humboldt County. This position supports the department managers to ensure compliance with all aspects of the company safety program in California. The Safety Coordinator provides information on safety policies, federal and state OSHA regulations, guidance and compliance training to managers and employees. This ensures all employees at every level are properly trained and work safely. In addition, this role organizes and administers the California safety committee, maintains PPE inventory, leads incident investigations, updates policies with approval from the Safety Director, and maintains the current safety system.

This position requires a bachelors degree in Industrial Safety or 5 years of relevant work experience in industrial safety, forestry or logging administration.
