Must be conscientious with regard to procedures, and capable of working under pressure and interacting professionally with other departments within the hospital.
Able to accept new ideas and learn position duties.
Participate in the department’s performance improvement activities.
Hours from 0600-1430
Abilityto communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.(required).
Minimumof one (1) year experience as Central Service Technician or Surgical Tech(preferred).
Thoroughknowledge of medical terminology and nomenclature of items and equipment usedby the department (required)
Knowledgeablewith cleaning and sterilization procedures and techniques (required).
